Client centered, evidence based care with a personal touch
I specialize in providing individualized, scientifically supported care by merging the ancient wisdom of yoga with the latest scientific research. I work both with individual clients and organizations seeking mindful growth.
20+Years as a Movement Professional in the Yoga World
Over the years, I've immersed myself in a diverse array of yoga styles, seeking out the best teachers across the country. This journey has allowed me to blend elements from various traditions into my own unique practice and teaching. I have immersed myself in a wide range of styles—Ashtanga, Kundalini, Prana Flow, Iyengar, Anusara, and Acro Yoga—each of which has left an indelible mark on my practice and teaching and have all contributed to the extensive toolkit I bring to my sessions.
While my initial focus was on alignment-based, physically demanding forms of yoga, I've come to appreciate the profound balance between building strength and stamina and engaging in more subtle, internal work.
This holistic approach has led me to feel more powerful and comfortable in my own skin, and it's a joy to share this experience with others.

When I began practicing yoga, I was deeply moved by the calming impact it had on my nervous system, a beautiful byproduct of pranayama and asana.
Initially, I focused on the form of the practice, but the teachings of Angela Farmer and Barbara Benagh inspired me to tailor my yoga to support my nervous system, adapting to my evolving needs. This experience laid the foundation for my interest in yoga as a personal therapeutic practice, guiding my journey and shaping the way I support others in their own transformative paths.
Christyn has been working in and around the greater Boston area for over 20 years, connecting with individuals of all ages and helping them navigate life’s challenges and opportunities for growth at every stage.
Many of my clients come to me during times of transition—whether they're adjusting to lifestyle changes, adapting to a new diagnosis, healing from traumatic events such as injuries or the loss of a loved one, or simply sensing they are on the brink of change and seeking to move forward from a place of wholeness.
My goal is to support you through these pivotal moments, helping you find balance, strength, and a renewed sense of well-being.

“Christyn exemplifies the essence of a therapeutic presence. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing Christyn work with clients in a therapeutic/clinical setting and I am in awe of her ability to connect deeply with clients, meet them in present moment awareness and then customize each session to facilitate their individual healing journey. The client/therapist connection which Christyn cultivates in each session is incredibly beautiful and deeply healing.”
I have been fortunate to learn from a wealth of wonderful teachers, drawing on their wisdom throughout my 25 years of practice.
I am especially grateful to the Sauk Prairie School District for embracing progressive programming that laid the foundation for my life's journey.
What I knew to be true at 17 still holds today:
my yoga practice provides a framework to navigate life's challenges, stay true to myself, positively impact others, and access the "dynamic stillness" that keeps me present and grateful.
This enduring truth continues to guide my practice and teaching, allowing me to share these transformative benefits with others.
